Comments and Forms

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed on the form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the browser user agent to help detect spam. For comments, an anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to Gravatar to see if you use it. The Gravatar Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile image is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to your site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Site visitors can download and extract any location data from the images on the site.
